ap turns bilingual! *BETA
Dear ap:community, for a much too long time you could only navigate and communicate on aboutpixel in the gruesome German language. That was the past... We have finally made the whole site available in English as well. That means your favorite photo community will now be available to people around the globe. ap in English has become a reality! Where in the days of yesteryear Germans, Austrians, and Swiss were among themselves, soon users from all countries will share their passion for photography and great images. Welcome, world!
In case you are wondering which sections of ap will be available in English, the answer is plain and simple: Simply all of them! The whole site with all subsections has been translated into English and is now only a click away. Additionally, we will publish all blog entries and news on the site both in German and English. Keep up to date with ap!
Why ap in English? Well, we wanted to make this great collection of photos available to everyone, no matter what nationality, plus we wanted to extend this awesome community to the whole world. That is why we will not split the comments into different languages. The effect is that Mike from Denver can directly answer to a comment made by Fritz from Bavaria. We hope to make our great community of photo-lovers even more fruitful this way. We will be excited to look on how ap will internationalize in the next months! Have fun with our pics!

sehr interessantes update ...
die optische umsetzung für die sprachwahl ist vielleicht noch verbesserbar? (diese punkte vor den flaggen sowie platzierung machen das ganze etwas unordentlich im oberen teil)
also auf zu englischen keywords ;)
nochmal alle bilder bearbeiten ;) :P
Viel Spaß stormy, dommy etc mit euren tausenden von bildern ;)

| Bin ich blind? Kann nur die Deutschland-Fahne so halb verschwundensehen (vom Hilfekasten verdeckt). Muss wohl am Fußballfieber liegen. Zu meiner Ehrenrettung:da ist wirklich keine andere Fahne. |

schönes neues release
habs mal probiert - scheint soweit alles ok und verständlich. klasse auch, dass die keywords soweit möglich ins englische übersetzt werden, so dass keine extraarbeit erforderlich ist.
dann auf in die große weite welt 8) |

Falls noch jemand Probleme mit der Fahne hat, einfach mal den Cache löschen oder STRG + R oder STRG + F5 drücken. Sollte dann eigentlich behoben sein. Ansonsten bitte alle Fehler über das Formular an uns.

richtigen unterhaltungswert bekäme das ganze noch, wenn alle unsere bildkommentare von einem richtig schönen automatischen übersetzungsprogramm eingeenglischt würden. ich glaube, dann würde ich mir die mühe machen, das ganze ding hier - bild für bild - nachzulesen! würde für eine menge langer winterabende reichen, das kabarett!

ich switche - jeh nach dem wie mir ein keyword einfällt ;-)
übrigens sind die übersetzer sehr, sehr fix - gestern sah ich bei einem bild von mir, daß "morgen" mit "tomorrow" übersetzt war, anstatt mit "morning" - da hab' ich schnell "morgens" draus gemacht, und als ich wieder auf englisch switchte, stand "in the morning" da - superschnell, die jungs und mädchen :D :D :D |

die übersetzung geht "automatisch" da steckt ein wörterbuch hinter. es sind noch einige wörter nicht 100%ig richtig und es fehlt auch noch einiges. aber einige 10.000 wörter kommen schon sehr gut hin.
du kannst aber auch in der deutschen version englische keywords verwenden zum suchen. musst also nicht switchen. |
