Downloading image files requires payment with credits. Details about credits and their use are defined in articles 12 and 13 of the Terms of Use. The amount of credits required for each download depends on the selected resolution and license type.

 

The licensor receives a download fee from the licensee in accordance with the individual credit type (Daily-Credits, Free-Credits, PayCredits) and the number of credits used by the licensee to purchase the download. 

 

aboutpixel charges licensors a brokerage fee for the provision of the portal, amounting to half the credits used for the download. The fee will be deducted from the credits the licensor will receive from the licensee for downloading the image files. Essentially, half the credits required for each download will be credited to the licensor's account. Daily-Credits used will be credited to the licensee's account as Free-Credits at half their value. If Free-Credits and PayCredits are used, half of their value will be credited as the corresponding credit type.

 

Credits will be credited to the member's user account within the portal. Members can check the amount of credits they received under "Income" in their user account.
